Great wonder

Illustration depicts a ritual practice used against hailstorm. An elderly women would carry out the youngest child in family and rise it up towards the storm. She would then yell out an incantation such as: "Here is a greater wonder than there, bit his mother on the tit, on the new moon he ate crescent, he will eat you to, silly cloud!".
